What we build

Everything we build starts with a solid frame and ends with a space you'll actually use. Each service below is covered in more detail on the Services page.

Composite and PVC decks

New decks in low-maintenance composite or PVC, with the framing, railing and stairs to match.

Deck lighting

Light along the stairs and railing so the deck is usable after dark.

Repair and replacement

Replace that tired wood deck with one you'll actually use

An older wood deck usually tells you when it's tired: boards that give underfoot, a railing that moves when you lean on it, hardware that has rusted through. Call or text and we'll take a look at what's there, then talk through whether a repair or a new deck makes more sense.

How your deck gets built

For us, the process and how you're treated along the way matter as much as the deck. Here's how it goes, from the first call to the last board.

  1. Reach out

Call or text (865) 333-0361, or send the form with your project type, the material you're considering, a rough size and a timeline. Photos of the yard or the existing deck can follow by email or text.

  2. Talk it through

We go over what you want to build, where it goes and how you'll use it, and answer your questions on composite versus PVC, railings, stairs and shade.

  3. The build

The framing goes in first, then the decking, railing and stairs. Homeowners who have reviewed us mention good communication and a crew that showed up when it said it would.

  4. The finish

The last rail goes on and the deck is yours to use. Dinner outside, a crowd on game day, or a quiet evening with the lights on.

Deck questions we hear most

Composite or PVC: which should I choose?

Both are low-maintenance decking that skips the staining and sealing a wood deck needs. Composite boards blend wood fiber and plastic; PVC boards are all plastic. Which one fits comes down to the look you want, how the deck will be used and your budget, so call or text us with how you plan to use the space and we'll talk it through.

What does a deck cost?

It depends on the size, the height off the ground, the material, the railing and the stairs, and whether a roof, screens or lighting are part of the plan. We don't price from a square-foot number; we look at the site and the project first.

Costs vary by size, height, materials, site conditions, and permits; your price is set after a site visit.

Do you handle permits and HOA approval?

Ask us about permits for your project. If your neighborhood has an HOA, bring its rules to the first conversation so they're part of the plan from the start.

Can you add a roof or screens to my deck?

Yes. Covered decks and screened porches are part of what we build, on a new deck or on one you already have. Call or text with what you have in mind and a photo of the back of the house, and we'll talk through what fits.

What should I send when I reach out?

A rough size, your city and the material you're considering are enough to start, along with the kind of project: new deck, replacement, repair, covered deck, screened porch, railings, pergola or lighting. Photos of the yard or the existing deck can follow by email or text.
